Click Next and be prompted to provide Additional security verification.
In the drop down menu select Mobile app for using the Microsoft Authenticator app:

After selecting next, the Configure mobile app screen will appear:

When ready, use your iOS or Android device to scan the QR code in the prompt and click Next.
The system will then run a test. Respond to the notification on your iOS or Android device.
After the test is successful, you will be prompted to provide additional security verification for a backup method (phone number). IT encourages adding your mobile device phone number to act as a backup if you are unable to access or use the mobile app for any reason. Alternatively, it can be skipped by selecting Done.
