Skype - Halsey 149 Conference Room Setup
Instructions on how to select correct microphone and speakers for conducting a skype call in Halsey 149.
Halsey 149 Skype setup
- Log into computer with your netid account
- Click on the windows icon in the lower left corner of the screen and select skype

- Login using your skype credientals
- Click on the horizontal row of three dots above the search bar to verify audio & video settings

- Click on settings

- Click on the down arrow next to default device by Video

- Verify that HD Pro Webcam C920 is selected
- To test video press the button underneath Test Video
- Click on the down arrow next to default device by Speakers

- Verify that Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) is selected
- To test audio click on the text Test audio
- Click on the down arrow next to default device by Microphone

- Verify that Microphone (2-USB audio CODEC) is selected
- Verify that mute button is not illuminated on usb microphone
- After setting are verified press the X in the upper right corner of the Setting window to close the window
- To verify setting during a skype call click the button with the three horizontal dots located at the bottom of the call window

- click Device settings

- Verify the correct sources are selected
- Video: HD Pro Webcam C920
- Speakers: (Realtek High Definition Audio)
- Microphone (2-USB audio CODEC)
