How to use Ricoh printers in Clow, Halsey, Reference, and Sage Labs as well as Scott Hall.

Printing, Making Copies, and Scanning to Email

Ricoh printers with the ability to scan to email and make copies are installed in Clow Lab, Halsey Lab, and Sage Lab and Polk Library. These directions will include how to make a copy and how to scan to email. 

Printing

If not already selected, click on Pharos SRH on the home screen.

Scan TitanCard to login to your print queue. From that screen you can see how many items are in the queue and how much money is left within the account. Each item can be selected individually to print, or Print All can be selected to print all of the items.

Copy/Quick Copy

In order to make a copy, your TitanCard must be scanned first. If not, scanning will not work. Once the TitanCard is scanned press the home button at the bottom of the screen:

    The home button is available on every screen regardless of what is selected. But the TitanCard still must be scanned and registered by the Pharos system in order for copying to work correctly. To copy, select Copy or Quick Copy on the application selection screen: 

    Copy

    If Copy is selected:

    • Place the original document on the glass by lifting up the top part of the unit
    • Select the amount of copies desired
    • Press Start
    • When done, select Pharos SRH on screen and logout
    If Quick Copy is selected:
    • Place the original document facing up in the feeding tray on the top of the unit
    • Select the amount of copies desired
    • Press Start
    • When done, select Pharos SRH on screen and logout

    Scan/Quick Scan

    In order to make a copy, your TitanCard must be scanned first. If not, scanning will not work. Once the TitanCard is scanned press the home button at the bottom of the screen:

    The home button is available on every screen regardless of what is selected. But the TitanCard still must be scanned and registered by the Pharos system in order for copying to work correctly. To scan, select Scan or Quick Scan on the application selection screen: 

    Scan
     

    If Scanner is selected:

    • Press destinations which will bring down a pull down tab
    • Select Enter Using Keyboard and type desired email address
    • Press Done
    • If you wish to change the file format you must select options on the side
    • Place document either on glass or in feeder
    • Press Start
    • When done, select Pharos on screen and logout
    If Quick Scanner is selected:
    • Press destinations followed by "Email (To)"
    • Select Manual Entry and click Specify Destination
    • Type in the desired email address and press Done
    • If you wish to change the file format or indicate document is double sided you must select options on the side
    • Place document either on glass or in feeder
    • Press Start
    • When done, select Pharos on screen and logout
