This article explains how to access another user's calendar using Outlook.

Accessing another user's calendar

This article will explain how to view another user's calendar. 

Important Note: By default, calendar permissions are set to free/busy. If more permission is required than the default, those permissions will need to be granted by the owner of the calendar. 

To access another User's Calendar with Outlook Online

Using classic Outlook:
  1. Log in to outlook.office.com with your NetID credentials
  2. Navigate to Calendar 
  3. Across the top, locate Add Calendar
  4. Select from directory
  5. Type the name or email address of the desired calendar
Using new Outlook:
  1. Log in to outlook.office.com with your NetID credentials
  2. Navigate to Calendar 
  3. On the left, click import calendar
  4. Select From directory
  5. Type the name or email address of the desired calendar

To access another User's Calendar with an Outlook Client

Using Outlook for Mac: 

  1. Navigate to Calendar
  2. Select 'Open Shared Calendar' across the top
  3. Type the name or email address of the desired calendar and choose Open

Using Outlook 2016 for PC: 

  1. Click on Calendar
  2. Right click on My Calendars
  3. Hover over add Calendar and click From Address Book
  4. Type the name or email address of the desired calendar select Go
