Printing (Pharos) - Student Printing Troubleshooting
Student printing queues are not working on your computer
Are you connected to Titan WiFi?
Wireless printing queues will not work for off campus housing, hot spots, Titan WiFi Guest, Eduroam, or any other wireless network outside of Titan WiFi.
Are you using the correct username?
This should be your netID (the first part of your email before @uwosh.edu), not your campus ID number or any other form of identification you have associated with UW Oshkosh.
Do you have the most recent print packages?
These can be found on our Wireless Printing page. Install them, and it will remove any old wireless print packages you have already installed.
Do you have a non-native antivirus?
3rd party antivirus software like WebRoot and McAfee can interfere with the popup feature necessary to use the student wireless print packages. UW Oshkosh IT recommends the use of Windows Defender on Windows devices, as MacOS does not have a native antivirus we recommend MacOS users utilize safe browsing practices to reduce the risk of computer compromisation.
