Canvas - Hide Grade Totals in Student Grade Summaries
Want to hide the "Totals" from student in their Grade Summaries?
Location of Totals
This will show you how to hide the "Totals" area in the student grades tool. You can see where the "Totals" appears by using the "Student View" and selecting "Grades". It appears in the upper right.
Hide Totals
- Login to Canvas
- Select the Course
- Choose "Settings" from the Course navigation
- Select the "Course Details" Tab
- Choose "More Options" at the bottom of the page
- Check the box "Hide totals in student grade summary"
- Select "Update Course Details" button
