Virtual Lab - How to Access
This document will provide information on how to access the virtual lab which enables the user to use software that would be available in computer lab on personal computers.
How to Login

First, navigate to https://virtuallab.it.uwosh.edu/

On this screen you have 2 options: Launch Native Client or HTML Access
Launching Through The Native Client

If you are planning to use the virtual lab often it might be beneficial to download to application VMware Horizon Client.

At the https://virtuallab.it.uwosh.edu/ page, click on the "Download and Install VMware Horizon Client"

On the page it takes you to, find your operating system (Windows, Mac, or Linux) and click on "Go to Downloads.

Then click on Download Now and install the software

After the install is done, navigate back to https://virtuallab.it.uwosh.edu/

Click on Launch Native Client.

This will open up the application and prompt you to login with your NetID (without the @uwosh.edu)

After logging in, you will see a desktop screen.

To Logout, click on the Windows symbol on the bottom right of the screen.

Click on your name

Click sign out

Launching Through HTML
-
Launching though HTML will let you remote into the lab computer through your web browser

After navigating to https://virtuallab.it.uwosh.edu/ click on VMware Horizon HTML Access

Enter your NetID username (without the @uwosh.edu) and password
- Click on General Access Lab

To Logout, click on the Windows symbol on the bottom right of the screen.

Click on your name

Click sign out
