Navigate - Calendar Sync Error

These instructions can be used if your Navigate calendar sync is not working or if you are seeing an error.

Navigate Calendar Sync Issue

If your Navigate calendar sync is not working or you are seeing an error you have two options to fix the issue.

Example Errors:

Navigate calendar sync error

  • Option 1:  Retry Sync (this can be tried first but if it fails then you would need to proceed with option 2).
  • Option 2:  Disconnect Sync and Setup Sync (this is a two step process).

Option 1:  Retry Sync

  1. Click on the calendar iconNavigate Calendar Icon in the navigate.

  2. Click on Settings and Sync towards the top right side of the window.
  3. Click on Retry Sync...

  4. If this is not successful you will need to proceed with the steps below to disconnect sync and setup sync.

Option 2:  Disconnect Sync and Setup Sync

***Important:  This is a two step process.  Step 1:  Disconnect Sync Step 2:  Setup Sync.***

Step 1:  Disconnect Sync

  1. Click on the calendar iconNavigate Calendar Icon in the navigate.
  2. Click on Settings and Sync towards the top right side of the window.
  3. Click on Disconnect Sync...

  4. A message will show asking you to confirm the disconnect.  Select Confirm to disconnect.

  5. A message will show letting you know that this may take up to 30 minutes for the disconnect.

  6. It is important to be sure that all synced events have been removed for your Navigate calendar before you move on to step 2 below.
    • Check that all synced events have been removed from the Navigate Calendar
      1. Click on the calendar icon in the toolbar.
      2. Check to be sure that all synced events have been removed for your calendar before moving on to step 2 below.

Step 2:  Setup Sync

  1. Click on the calendar iconNavigate Calendar Icon in the navigate.
  2. Click on Settings and Sync towards the top right side of the window.
  3. Click on Setup Sync...

  4. Click on Microsoft Office 365 (latest version).

  5. Select your uwosh.edu account to login or login with your uwosh.edu email if prompted with the full login screen.

  6. A window will show letting you know that the sync may take up to 30 minutes.  Let the sync run!

  7. You will see a message when the sync has completed and you can also click on your calendar icon in the toolbar to verify it has synced your calendar to Navigate successfully.
