Identity Finder - Advanced Search Features

This page is going to explain some of the more advanced Identity Finder features and how to use them.

These features will allow you to change several aspects of the scan, including what is searched for, where IDF searches, and even when Identity Finder will perform a search.

Identities and Locations

Identities and Locations -  This will explain how to change the search parameters to search for different types of PII (Ex: Credit Cards, Addresses, Phone Numbers...Etc) and also how to change where the Identity Finder Program is searching for them.

Anyfind/Onlyfind/Multi-Find - This page will go in to detail about the differences between these search parameters and how to use them. These search parameters will allow the user to narrow the scope of the search to either all PII or a specific identity.

Customfind -  This page will explain the Keywords/Regex/Dictionary features and how to use them. These features will allow you to create your own parameters to search for PII, this includes making your own keywords to search for, a specific pattern of numbers to search for, and a list of words to search for.

Scheduling/Logging/View - This page will walk you through how to set up a schedule for when and how frequently the scan should be run, and how to change the view settings so that you change some aspects of how the PII is displayed to you.

Tools - This page will explain what the System Cleanup and Shredder tools are and how to use them.
