Password Reset - Reset Titan Apps, Titan Web, NetID, and Titan Admin Password

List the default passwords and instructions for resetting them.

Titan Apps - Email Account

  • This is the email account for Faculty/Staff and Students which is through our Gmail provider.

Default password

This will only be the password if you are logging in for the first time or if the IT Help Desk has reset your password for you.

  • Your 7 digit student or employee ID number.


Change your own password (if logged into your account)

NetID (Campus Computer Logon):

Default Password

  • Your 7 digit employee or student ID number.

Self Service Password Reset

  1. Go to https://portal.housing.uwosh.edu/PWSelfService/Home/Index

Important Note:

  1. Anytime you change your NetID password make sure to update your wireless mobile device(s) password for TitanWifi.  
  2. If this is not updated it may attempt to connect to Titan Wifi with your old password and lock you out of your account.

Problems Logging in

For First Time Users and changing your password:

  • Reset Password Request

      • Students can also get help from the Lab Consultants in Clow, Halsey, Polk, Radford, Sage, and Swart computer labs.

Titan Web

Default Password

  1. Should be in all capitals:
  • the first two letters of your first name
  • the first two letters of your last name
  • the last four digits of your student ID number

For First Time Users: KB#Titan Web - Login Information

Change your own password (if logged into your account)

  1. Login to your account
  2. The User ID is a Capital W followed by your seven digit Campus ID number
  3. Log in with your current password
  4. Click the link at the left side of the screen that says Change my password
  5. Type in your current password
  6. Type in the password you would like to change it to
  7. Confirm the password
  8. Click Change Password
