D2L - Log Into D2L

Information on logging into D2L and navigating to an individual course site.

CAUTION: If you have used a campus computer in your office or in one of the labs and logged in with your username, you've already set up your NetID.

Create a NetID Password

**Before you are able to access Desire2Learn you must create a password to be used as your NetID.  If you have already created a password for NetID, please go to Step 2.

  1. Go to Desire 2 Learn
  2. Click Instructors and Students
  3. Click on activate your NetID
  4. Select First-Time Activation
  5. Enter your username in the space provided (your username is the first part of your email address, do not include the
  6. Enter your Current Password in the space provided.  (Your current password is your TitanID#.)
  7. Enter a new password in the space provided.
    • Make sure it says Acceptable Password to the right
  8. Retype your new password in the New Password Again field
    • Make sure it says Passwords Match to the right
  9. Select Change Password.

Login in to D2L

  1. Go to Desire 2 Learn
  2. Determine your current status as Student, Instructor, or guest and click the appropriate button
    Note: students or those individuals who are receiving credit for a course.  If you are a student involved in a collaborative program, guest lecturer or other user, click the "Guest User" button.
  3. Enter your username and password in the space provided.
  4. Click the Login button.
  5. You will be brought into the main account page. 
  6. To access an individual course, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the title of the desired course. 
    Or click on the drop down menu along the black bar at the top of the page titled "Select a course" and then select the desired course.
