Troubleshooting guide for general access classrooms, and lecture hall located in Kolf Sports Center.

If unable to troubleshoot issue please contact

Projection issues 

    Computer

    1. Verify projector is turned on
    2. Verify computer is on
    3. Verify the correct source is selected on control panel on Media Tower
    4. Verify VGA cable is connected to adapter and adapter connected to computer

        Document Camera

        1. Verify projector is turned on
        2. Verify document camera is turned on
        3. Verify correct source selected on control panel on Media Tower
        4. Verify VGA cable connected to port labeled VGA OUT on back of document camera

            VHS/DVD

            1. Verify projector is turned on
            2. Verify Media Tower turned on 
            3. Verify correct source selected on control panel on Media Tower

                Laptop

                1. Verify projector is turned on
                2. Verify computer is on
                3. Verify correct source is selected on control panel on Media Tower
                4. Verify laptop is connected to system using room laptop cable
                5. Verify laptop is set to mirror or duplicate displays

                Audio issues

                  Computer

                  1. Verify Media tower is turned on
                  2. Verify correct source is selected on control panel on Media Tower
                  3. Verify audio cable is connected to computer
                  4. Verify the audio is not muted on computer
                  5. Verify amp is turned on
                  6. Turn volume control located on the Media tower control panel to the right

                  Laptop

                  1. Verify Media tower is turned on
                  2. Verify correct source is selected on control panel on Media Tower
                  3. Verify audio cable is connected to computer
                  4. Verify audio is not muted on computer
                  5. Verify amp is turned on
                  6. Turn volume control located on the Media tower control panel to the right

                  DVD/VHS

                  1. Verify Media tower turned on
                  2. Verify correct source selected on control panel on Media Tower
                  3. Verify amp turned on
                  4. Turn volume control located on the Media tower control panel to the right
