Adobe Acrobat - Saving a PDF

This guide will show you how to properly save a PDF in Acrobat.

There are multiple ways to save a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat. 

  • There is a save icon on the main toolbar.
  • Choose File > Save or,
  • File > Save As also gives the option of saving it as a reduced file size PDF which can be useful when sending to someone who may have to open the PDF on an older computer. 
  • File > Save As Other also provides the option of saving as a Certified PDF. A Certified PDF is another way of saying that the documents were sent from you with your permission.
