Outlook - Accessing Outlook

How to access Outlook

Accessing Outlook

Login to Outlook online

  1. Go to outlook.office.com
  2. Enter your full email address (including @uwosh.edu for the user name), and click Next
This will take you to the NetID login page, with your email address already filled in for your username
  3. Enter your NetID password (the same password used for campus computer login, Canvas, etc.)
  4. Click Sign In
Note:  If this is the first time you are logging into Outlook online, Outlook will ask you to identify what time zone you are in.
Also, if you notice the "Try the new Outlook," we recommend you do not use "the new Outlook" for your everyday use.
Microsoft will roll out the new version once they have resolved any of the glitches in the new version.

Login to an Outlook Application

Campus computers have the Outlook application installed if you prefer a desktop client application.
Non-Microsoft mail clients, such as Apple Mail, are not recommended.
For personal computers, login to Outlook online as outlined above, click your name in the upper right, choose My account, and you'll see options for installing Microsoft Office.
